The double bed stands straight up in a small room, making it hard for us to sleep. The noise of the conveyor belt machine bothers us when we thought we were safe in this private space. The Ipad scans the constantly moving pictures on the conveyor belt to make AR animations that stimulate our eyes in turn. During this process, the viewer feels a lot of spatial anxiety, but in the AR space, this anxiety quickly goes away.
Zijia Lin takes his memories of living in Guangzhou's urban villages and uses them to make this work. He wants the viewer to feel the state of existence of people alienated by work.
